On June 13, 2022, newspaper Financial Times published the top fifty of women excelling in tech in Europe for 2022 and included Elegnano founder, Katrien Herdewyn.
The list is an initiative of the international organization Inspiring Fifty. With chapters of Inspiring Fifty in countries all over the world, the non-profit wants to put role models forward to fight the gender imbalance in STEM. Run by EQL:HER and partnering with Google, Price Waterhouse Cooper, the Financial Times, Klecha & Co, YPO, and Fieldhouse, the idea is to inspire the next generation of leaders and tech talent across the ecosystem.
